User Agreement

Last updated 9 June 2026 · Dotcorr B.V., Capelle aan den IJssel, the Netherlands

This User Agreement is the contract between you and Dotcorr B.V. for using the OSCortex website, developer preview, and services. By accessing the site or using OSCortex, you accept this agreement, the Acceptable Use Policy, and (where applicable) the Terms of Sale.

1. Your account and access

Access to the developer preview is granted at our discretion and may be invitation-based. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and not share access except as permitted.

2. Software licences

  • The OSCortex kernel and tooling are licensed under AGPL-3.0-or-later. Your rights and obligations for that software are defined by that licence.
  • Where you hold a separate commercial licence, its terms apply to the scope it covers.
  • Third-party components retain their own licences, listed in the repositories.

3. Acceptable use

Your use must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend access for breaches of that policy.

4. Preview status and availability

OSCortex is a development preview. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn, and downloadable images are unsigned previews intended for testing in a VM or on non-production hardware. We do not guarantee uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, or backward compatibility during the preview.

5. Intellectual property

The OSCortex and Dotcorr names, logos, and the website’s design and content are owned by Dotcorr B.V., except for open-source code under its respective licences. Nothing here grants you rights to our trademarks beyond fair, descriptive use.

6. Disclaimers and liability

  • The website and preview are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit, or business, arising from use of the preview.
  • Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law, or your statutory consumer rights.

7. Changes and termination

We may update this agreement; continued use after an update means you accept it. You may stop using OSCortex at any time, and we may suspend or end access where this agreement or the law requires.

8. Governing law

This agreement is governed by Dutch law, with the District Court of Rotterdam having exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
