Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 9 June 2026 · Dotcorr B.V., Capelle aan den IJssel, the Netherlands
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what you may and may not do when using OSCortex software, the developer dashboard, the OTA/pairing tunnel, and any related services provided by Dotcorr B.V. It forms part of your agreement with us.
1. General principle
Use OSCortex lawfully, securely, and only on hardware and networks you are authorised to operate. You are responsible for everything done through your account, devices, and access tokens.
2. You must not
- break any applicable law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights;
- deploy OSCortex to devices you do not own or have permission to manage;
- use the software in safety-critical or life-sustaining systems while it is a development preview;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our infrastructure, other tenants, or other devices;
- probe, scan, or test the security of systems without authorisation, or circumvent our access controls;
- distribute malware, push unsigned or tampered firmware to devices you do not control, or abuse the OTA tunnel;
- overload, disrupt, or degrade the service (including denial-of-service or excessive automated requests);
- remove or falsify licence, attribution, or signature information.
3. Security and responsible disclosure
Keep your pairing tokens and credentials confidential. If you discover a vulnerability in OSCortex, please report it responsibly to tahiru@dotcorr.com before public disclosure, and give us a reasonable opportunity to remediate.
4. Open-source contributions
Contributions to the OSCortex repositories are governed by the project’s licence and contributor terms on GitHub. Do not submit code or content you do not have the right to license.
5. Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate access, or remove content, if we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, where required by law, or to protect the service or other users. Where practical we will give notice; serious or unlawful activity may be acted on immediately.
