This policy explains what personal data Dotcorr B.V. (“Dotcorr”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the OSCortex website and developer preview, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch Implementation Act (UAVG).
1. Who we are
Dotcorr B.V. is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. We are established in Capelle aan den IJssel, the Netherlands. For any privacy request, contact tahiru@dotcorr.com.
2. What we collect
- Access requests. The email address you submit to request early access, and any optional message about what you intend to build.
- Communications. The content of emails you send us and our replies.
- Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamps) generated when you visit, used for security and reliability.
We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and the site is not directed at children.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To send you developer builds, release notes, and access invitations you asked for — based on your consent.
- To respond to your messages and operate the waitlist — based on our legitimate interest in running the preview programme.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse — based on our legitimate interest and legal obligations.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Who processes it for us
We use a small number of processors who act on our instructions: Google Cloud Platform (hosting on Cloud Run in the europe-west4 region, the Netherlands), and an email delivery provider for transactional messages. Personal data is stored within the European Economic Area; where any transfer outside the EEA is unavoidable, it is covered by an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
We retain access-request data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and routine server logs for a limited period for security purposes. You can have your data erased at any time.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may, at any time, request to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- rectify inaccurate data, or complete incomplete data;
- erase your data (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any right, email tahiru@dotcorr.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
7. Cookies
The site uses only what is strictly necessary to function. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as OSCortex evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
